**About the Role**:
This role is perfect for someone with a **person-centred** approach, who has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with physical or intellectual disability, who enjoys a challenge, and enjoys the rewarding feeling of **making a difference** in someone’s life.

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for **an adult **requiring support within the home involving In Home Care and Domestic Assistance.

**Shifts available**: Friday to Monday 5pm - 7pm

**Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.**

**Pay rate **Minimum starting rate is $40.36 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).

**Skills and Experience**:
Experience and/or qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care or equivalent (_students currently studying in these areas, as well as Nursing, Physio Therapy, OT and Paramedicine also encouraged to apply_)
- Enthusiastic, positive approach to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability.
- Reliable, kind, and caring nature, with good work ethics
- Well-presented and a professional approach
- Active with average physical fitness level
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of people’s individual support needs

**Requirements**:

- Current resume and 2 professional referees
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
- Working with Children Check (Employment Purposes)
- Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
