Undertake economic research and analysis either individually or in conjunction with colleagues to identify risks, issues and opportunities relating to the State's gas resources. Assist in the development of intelligence products, such as data dashboards and summaries of industry trends, providing relevant facts to support the department's policy team. Prepare clearly articulated and well-presented analyses, submissions, reports, briefings, and correspondence relating to complex issues, ensuring deadlines are achieved. - Assist with the provision of timely and accurate responses to ad hoc requests from senior staff for internal and external use, including requests from the Minister for Resources, Director-General, Deputy Director General and Executive Directors. Consider the implications of environmental, social and governance issues for the evolution of Queensland's gas and thermal coal sectors. Support the delivery of key projects and initiatives, ensuring goals, objectives and milestones are met and are in accordance with departmental project management requirements. Develop and maintain an awareness of current and emerging trends and developments in the Queensland, Australian and global resources sector through research and by participation in appropriate forums and events. Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve high quality outcomes and business improvement initiatives.
