**Make a Meaningful Impact: Patient Services Assistant Roles at SALHN**

As a Patient Services Assistant, you will play an integral role in enhancing the patient experience and supporting the delivery of exceptional care. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: cleaning; patient transport; fetch and carry; and meal delivery. You will contribute to the comfort and safety of our patients by providing a compassionate and patient focused service. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals during their healthcare journey with SALHN.

**About the role**:
Working as a Patient Services Assistant, some of your responsibilities may involve:

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients by performing a broad range of scheduled cleaning tasks in accordance with the SA Health Cleaning Standards for South Australian Health Care Facilities.
- Support nursing staff by transporting patients, delivery and collection of meal trays, rubbish collection and bed making which contributes to an efficient and high-quality patient care service.

**_Please Note:_**_ The successful applicant must be available to work over a 24 hour/7 day roster._

**About you**:

- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and as an effective team member.
- Experience in delivering customer service in an empathetic and compassionate manner.
- Flexible approach to work routine and methods
- Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team
