**About the role**

For older people, a lack of access to affordable, safe and age-friendly transport can lead to loneliness and isolation.

At Southern Cross Care, we are addressing this need through our Care Car program, and are seeking volunteers to support the program

Our Care Cars run from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm and help people to visit their family, attend medical appointments and get out and about in their community.

We provide modern, safe and fully-maintained vehicles and smart phones for easy navigation and communication with our support team.

This position would best suit those who love to work in a team, be around people, have good communication skills and empathy.
