The Surgery Centre includes: Eight operating theatres, two endoscopy suites, a 12 bay Recovery unit, The Surgery Centre ward and a Satellite ward at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital.

**About the role**:
Provide assistance to the surgical team, which includes surgeons, nursing, and anaesthesia staff to enable them to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients and to perform the duties of this position efficiently using a team approach to the standards of the department.

**To be successful in this role you'll have**:

- Previous significant experience as a theatre technician
- Ability to cope with working in a dynamic and challenging working environment.
- Demonstrated evidence of having worked and contributed to the success of a team.
- Commitment to further self-development and education
- Commitment to quality, best practice and environmental safety
- Patient/customer focused approach to service delivery
