**ARU** by Chef Khanh Nguyen is one of Melbourne’s most acclaimed new restaurants, we are looking for _**Section Waiters**_ to join our growing team, we have **Casual, Part Time & Full Time **opportunities available. Named after the group of islands which ancient seafarers frequented as a part of the Sino-Australian route, our menu blends South-East Asian cuisine with Indigenous Australian ingredients and focuses on early cooking techniques such as fermentation, smoking, curing, preserving and fire-licked meat, vegetables and fish.

Sitting alongside the broad and unique food offering will be an extensive, exciting, and ever-changing wine program that looks at wines from The Old and New World with a focus on Sake and Japanese products. The bar and cocktail program focuses on local and premium spirits, native ingredients and modern, creative techniques.

We are looking for Section Waiters who will enjoy the concept of Aru’s cuisine and the coming together of cultures. Who are guest centric and focused on creating memorable moments for our guest and patrons.
**Who we are looking for**:

- Experience and exposure in a fine dining or similar environment as a _Section Waiter_
- Service driven with an eye for detail
- Exceptional guest engagement and communication skills
- Excellent presentation, positive and friendly attitude
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Keen and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
- Quick learner and passionate about food and beverage
- RSA certificate as per Victorian guidelines

**Salary**: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
