Are you a passionate curator with a flair for contemporary art and cultural events? We are seeking a dedicated **Curator** to assist in developing and delivering innovative exhibitions, workshops and cultural experiences at our Goolugatup Heathcote Gallery.

**Salary**:$75,333 - $87,934 pro-rata p.a. + 11.5% superannuation
**Employment Type**:4-year contract, Part-Time 0.8FTE

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate and work independently to develop and deliver contemporary art exhibitions, meetings, seminars, and workshops.
- Curate cultural events and experiences with creative industry professionals, ensuring a First Nations First approach.
- Conduct research and develop new cultural programs, including exciting exhibitions.
- Manage installation budgets and oversee the Installation Coordinator.
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring visitors have access to up-to-date information about Goolugatup Heathcote and its gallery.
- Coordinate staff rostering for gallery operations and events while serving as the first point of contact for precinct tenants.
- Handle administrative tasks including cultural space bookings, data entry, art sales, and cash reconciliation.
- Promote Goolugatup Heathcote Gallery through various channels, including website maintenance and social media.
- Support the Senior Curator & Creative Lead in delivering a wide range of cultural services and events.

**What We’re Looking For**
- A **tertiary qualification in Arts** or equivalent and a **Current National Police Clearance**.
- Demonstrated experience in the arts industry, particularly in exhibition installation, curation, and handling artifacts.
- Proven customer service skills in challenging environments and experience in administrative roles.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
