**Canterbury Child Care Centre & Kindergarten** **is looking for a new team member**

**Miniumum requirement: Certificate III or Diploma in**Children's **Services or working towards.**

We are a 31-place centre catering for Babies, Toddlers and Kindergarten.
We are open 7.30am to 6.15pm.

Our philosophy is based on mutual respect, conveyed in a positive environment that is safe and nurturing, where children are encouraged to discover the magic and wonder of the world while their caregivers support them in their learning and development.
The centre offers care to children between six weeks and five years of age.

- You must: be over 18 years old
- Have Certificate III, Diploma in Children’s Services or Working Towards

We would also like:

- Good communication & writing skills - Fluent English
- Must have the right to work in Australia or have an eligible Australian Work Visa
- Live in close vicinity of the area
- Able to use your initiative
- Knowledge of National Quality Framework
- Reliable
- Able to work in a team
- An ACEQA approved qualification
- Ability to Supervise Staff
- Proven ability and experience to plan, implement and evaluate an emergent curriculum based on the children's interests and developmental needs.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
- Proven ability to develop, implement and maintain comprehensive children's developmental records.
- Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer skills
- A current Working With Children Check
- Approved Asthma / /Anaphylaxis/First Aid qualifications
- Approved Child Protection training

You will be working within a team of supportive and talented Early Childhood teachers and educators. It is essential that you are a team player and have strong communications skills with a high level of understanding, and belief, in the long-lasting benefit of quality early childhood education.
