Our client, provides global supply chain services, specialised expertise and a high level of service to companies based in Australia, the United States and Asia, providing international freight forwarding (import and export), customs, buyers consolidation warehousing and contract logistics services to some of Australia’s leading brands and retailers is seeking an Sales Support Specialist to join either their Melbourne or Brisbane team.

As one of the Sales Support team you will play an integral role in providing support to the sales team by maintaining sales tools, systems and resources and providing exceptional customer service to internal clients and agents.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparing quotes as requested by the sales and client services team using margin guidelines provided.
- Supporting the Sales Support team in their preparation of competitive quotes for agents.
- Updating and entry of client rates into CargoWise.
- Managing new client account set up.
- Creating and maintenance of agent organisations information.
- Developing and following agreed process with the National Sales Manager to manage Sales Lead/Agent Lead processing through to the Sales team.
- Working with Sales and/or Client Success team to prepare client presentations.
- Assisting with preparation of tender responses including rates procurement, rates matrix for tender and tender document.
- Maintaining the intranet with relevant and up to date tradelane information, partner information and sales support and administration documentation.
- Managing and assisting other Business Services departments as required.
- Preparing, developing and maintaining SOPs for all responsibilities within Sales Support area with the assistance and guidance of the National Business Services Manager.

The ideal person for the role will possess a ‘can do’ attitude, have exceptional customer service skills and have excellent written and verbal communications skills. You will also need to have an energetic and positive approach to your work, possess the ability to juggle multiple tasks, problem solve and possess effective time management skills and display initiative. Experience in using CargoWise within Freight Forwarding is essential for this role.

The Melbourne role is located at the Derrimut office (2 days a week) and the Brisbane role with be based at Eagle Farm (2 days a week), on-site carparking provided. Working from home 3 days a week.

**Previous experience working within Freight Forwarding and with CargoWise is essential to be considered for this role.**
