About the role
The Clinical Facilitator ED Department (adult & paediatric) plans, implements and evaluates clinical learning opportunities at a ward / clinical unit / workplace level to support clinicians to provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-focused services. Clinical Facilitators develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clinicians and educators to enable education services to be available and accessible within the clinical setting.

**Major portfolios for this position include**: nursing orientation for staff, clinical education in emergency nursing, trainer responsibilities for manual handling, basic and advanced life support and the implementation, review and management of mandatory and requisite training requirements.
About you
- Demonstrate clinical experience and contemporary knowledge relevant to emergency nursing.
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in developing, implementing and evaluating clinical education activities which support clinicians to deliver contemporary, and evidence-based care.
- Demonstrate advanced level of interpersonal and written communication skills to enable accurate, complete, and timely information transfer to clinicians in individual and group education settings to support patient-centred care delivery and staff's professional development.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively within both clinical and education teams to meet service imperatives within designated timeframes and resource allocations.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
