**About the role**

Australian National Disability Services ANDS is seeking a motivated Disability Support Worker to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. This is a casual role that offers flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

**What you'll be doing**
- Providing personalised care and support to clients with a range of disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and dignity
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and community access
- Implementing individual support plans and goals, and collaborating with the client, their families, and other care providers
- Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
- Promoting client independence, choice, and control over their own lives

**What we're looking for**
- Demonstrated experience in the disability or aged care sector, or a similar care-oriented role
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to person-centered care
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability/Mental Health
- A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation

Pay: $39.00 - $41.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
