Sushi Assistant

**Daily tasks and responsibilities**:
Dismantles equipment, washes, rinses and sanitises removable parts, equipment in Deli and Rotisserie rooms
- Inspects and reassembles equipment, addresses any corrective actions from the previous night
- Rework display case, filling and rotating merchandise
- Completes required department paperwork
- Cleans and sanitises work area throughout the day following sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP)

Guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position
- Completes and complies with the 11 commandments of Quality assurance, food safety certification, and department-specific

training and all safety training required by the warehouse, service deli, and rotisserie department
- Complies with health code by following sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures
- Stocks and rotates supplies in the cooler/freezer
- Removes rubbish from the department and work areas
- Operates trash compactor and cardboard baler
- Cooks chicken as per Standard Operating Procedure
- Packages, labels, and displays chicken in a hot holding cabinet
- Adheres to all departments' Standard Operating Procedures
- Prepares meat, poultry, cold meat, vegetables, and seafood as per Standard Operating Procedures
- Assembles platters, pizzas, sushi, salads, raw meats, and other items sold in the Service Deli and Rotisserie departments
- Assists with other departments of the warehouse as necessary
- Provides and ensures prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and vendors.

Assists other areas in the department as necessary.
