Coregas has a full-time opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team based in Port Kembla. This role will be responsible for performing maintenance, fabrication and installation work as directed by the Supply Chain Maintenance
Co-ordinator at Port Kembla.

**What you will be doing**
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all production plant, distribution equipment by monitoring, maintaining, and repairing production equipment in accordance with MEX (in-house maintenance planning system) and at intervals requested. This includes isolation and return of plant and equipment as necessary.
- Ensure work orders are executed on time and documentation is complete for work order close out.
- Maintain spares and prepare equipment for supply chain purposes. Raise purchase orders for parts and spares as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunction and resolve issues.
- Organise despatch of spares as required.
- Assist the team with monthly workshop housekeeping efforts.

**What we need from you**
- Trade qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related trade
- Have gained a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in maintenance roles, preferably in the industrial gas industry
- Basic workshop drawing skills
- Be able to occasionally travel to other Coregas branches to assist in maintenance or project tasksas required
- Previous experience within the Industrial Gas or chemical industry is highly desirable.
