**Company Description** Connect ‘n’ Grow** is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) dedicated to delivering high-quality health and community services training to secondary school students across Queensland. We partner with schools to provide nationally recognised training that creates clear and meaningful pathways into healthcare and social services careers.
Our programs are designed to empower young people with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to pursue further education or enter the workforce job ready. With a strong focus on practical learning and industry relevance, we are passionate about building a future health and social services workforce
Due to continued growth we are seeking a Head of Teaching & Learning and Professional Development to lead our training team and provide vision and leadership in the development of best practice in pedagogy.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the training team by providing leadership, support, and direction.
- Work closely with the other senior leaders to ensure we operate together to create and achieve strategic goals.
- Oversee professional learning opportunities for internal & external trainers and training leadership staff
- Provide vision and leadership to training team
- Manage relationships with partner schools senior leaders.
Who we are looking for
- Someone that is passionate about the difference that education, specifically health education can make.
- Education background and strong knowledge of VET in Schools would be ideal
- Strong leadership and communication skills
**Qualifications**
Relevant qualification and experience.
Significant clinical training experience preferred but not essential.
