Aquaculture Opportunity

We are a small family business looking for the right person to join our team. The role will be diverse and dynamic and the ability to adapt is an advantage.

You will be working Monday to Friday 38 hours per week. You may be required to work overtime and some weekends (rarely) but as required. Standard hours are 8.30am to 5pm.

Please note: This role will be physically demanding and we are looking for someone who is committed, hardworking and is willing to learn all roles associated with this position to join our small team.

Successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of aquaculture production and maintenance, so you need to be flexible, eager to learn and partical.

You must have a passion / genuine interest in aquaculture. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

You must be physically fit (heavy lifting involved),

You should enjoy working outdoors, in all weather.

You would need to be able to work unsupervised and be able to complete set tasks as instructed or written.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

- Working outdoors
- Fish Handling, husbandry and breeding
- Plant production
- Pest & Disease Management - under supervision
- Watering
- Planting
- Picking, packing, and loading Stock
- Working in a small team
- Delivering Stock - as required

Licence and transport is required. We are based in Haynes/Armadale and not near public transport.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Armadale, WA 6112: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
