Experienced Baker

**Experienced / Qualified Baker**

**A busy bakery in Penrith is looking for an experienced / a qualified baker to join our production team**

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Knowledge of deck ovens, dough mixing and dough scheduling
- Understand the importance of recipes.
- Be able to prepare and deliver quality products on time
- Be ready to start early, work hard, be reliable and a team player.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Refer and follow production sheet
- Produce bread, rolls and artisan products and monitor production.
- Develop and maintain dough schedule and production sheet to deliver the products on time
- Maintain product quality as per recipe book
- Regular training to keep update with new products / procedures.
- Assist with other bakery duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure correct food safety and food handling procedures are followed
- Assist with front end duties as necessary
- Experience with sourdoughs, hand moulding is expected but not essential

**Requirements**:

- Bakery experience essential.
- Must be available to work rotating rosters including weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and handling

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Rotating roster

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Penrith, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
