**About the Role**

Sanctuary Care provide **in-home care**for Clients so they can enjoy living independently with a little help from us.

We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionate **Community Support Worker**to join our team at Sanctuary Care to provide support for our wonderful clients across **Currumbin,** in **QLD**, on a **Casual or Part-time basis**.

More specifically, some of your duties may include:

- Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
- Food preparation and shopping
- Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
- Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
- Providing social interaction and companionship
- Transport to appointments

**About You**
- Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
- Previous experience in aged care or disability - at least one year
- Hold a NDIS clearance - or willing to obtain
- Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
- Current Police Check - or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid Cert including CPR - or willing to obtain
- Must have own car & relevant insurances
- Dementia care qualification - desirable
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
