**Job Summary**:
Are you passionate about electronics and skilled at diagnosing and repairing electronic components? In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to ensure the reliable operation of electronic products by diagnosing, repairing, and reworking electronic components and assemblies to meet quality standards and customer requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Component-Level Troubleshooting**: Use schematics, test equipment, and diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope) to troubleshoot electronic components and assemblies down to the component level.
- **Repair and Rework**: Perform soldering (including under microscope), desoldering, and rework operations (e.g., hot air gun) to replace defective components, repair circuitry, and correct assembly errors down to 0603 level.
- **Quality Inspection**: Conduct visual and functional inspections of repaired and reworked electronic products to verify compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of repair activities, including detailed documentation of repairs performed, parts used, and test results. Generate reports to communicate repair status and findings to relevant stakeholders.
- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the rework and repair process. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement best practices and optimize repair procedures.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronics repair and rework, preferably in a manufacturing or else in a board-level repair environment.
- Proficiency in soldering and rework techniques, including surface mount and through-hole soldering.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and test equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Desirable**:

- IPC certification (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721).
- Experience with CAD programming and/or Altium.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
