Design Eyewear is an independently owned boutique optometry practice in the Adelaide CBD looking for a part time Optical Assistant to join our team. We have a unique range of frame lines that will make you feel like you are in a candy store rather than an optical shop. We have been around for 20+ years and have a great loyal clientele who come to us for our exceptional service.

**Skills & Experience**:
«Experience in the optical industry beneficial but not essential
(on the job training provided and/or Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing TAFE course reimbursement)
« Experience with Optomate beneficial but not essential
« Happy to work in a team environment to get work needed done
« Extremely conscientious
« Good at making phone calls
« Great communication skills & a good attitude
« An interest in fashion and style

**CULTURE**

We not only sell glasses but connect with our patients. We know them by name (Susan), we know where they took their last holiday (Paris) and we know their perfect frame before they do (laEyeworks Palomar).

We encourage our staff to have input into the practice (processes, frame lines, marketing, etc) and schedule one-on-ones every month to see how they are going at work and personally and figure out how we can support them.

We celebrate birthdays, work-versaries and when a new team member starts we block out the appointment book for a few hours and have a welcome morning tea.
