**You will**:

- Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement that facilitates positive project efficiencies and outcomes, constructive business relationships and engagements and mutually beneficial collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Ensure all aspects of the project/s including planning, resourcing, monitoring, reporting and implementation occur in a timely manner and to the highest standards as required.
- Actively prioritise, coordinate and undertake project activities and effectively address and/or communicate any issues promptly depending on impact and criticality.
- Utilise contemporary change management theory and skills to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes and solutions to the business.
- Provide expert advice and information to senior officers and stakeholders on project variables including emerging impediments and any opportunities and present solutions and recommendations to support successful program outcomes.
- Develop and/or implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of the project/s including risk and contingency planning and management, benefits realisation and quality measures and standards.
- Utilise specialised skills and technical knowledge by undertaking ongoing high-level tasks and prepare and/or provide timely and well-researched complex reports, briefing notes, submissions and verbal briefings and presentations to senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Ensure all associated governance arrangements, statutory obligations, policies and procedures and protocols are followed and/or reported as they relate to project requirements.
- Lead and/or mentor team members to support the agency in meeting policy commitments and initiatives in addition to individual professional development needs.
- Represent the unit or the department in a range of forums including inter departmental and stakeholder meetings as required.
- Actively contribute to other program/policy activities as directed.

Essential requirements
- Advanced project management skills.
- High level analytic, conceptual, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively provide authoritative advice using effective oral and written communication skills.

You may also have
- A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
