**Room Leader**

**Diploma in Early Education and Care**

**Part time - 37.5 hrs. Mon to Fri**

**$31.06 per hour**

**One Tree Defence Unit Coventry** is in the heart of Southbank, with a tram on your doorstep and parklands across the road. It is close to the Victoria Barracks and services the local defence personnel and their families. We are a small and cosy centre offering a kindergarten program, nursery room and toddler room. Our opening hours are 7am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

**What you’ll bring**
- Diploma in Early childhood;
- Current Working with Children Check;
- First aid certification; and
- Leadership skills and previous experience in a Room Leader role.

**What you’ll do**
- Recognise and develop the strengths in children and your team;
- Build positive relationships with peers, families, and children;
- You will have a strong understanding of the Children's Services Regulations, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS);
- Work well in a team;
- Have passion and enthusiasm and will want to have fun
