Retail Storeperson

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and organised store person to join our Mentone store on a full time basis.

You will be responsible for managing all incoming stock and keeping the storage areas tidy, orderly & clean. You will need to be highly organised, diligent and able to work independently.

**The role will include**:

- Accepting deliveries and checking against invoice
- Inspecting for damaged goods
- Unpacking, storing and rotating stock
- Informing relevant departments of goods receipt
- Keeping stockroom organised, orderly & clean
- Inventory management
- Stocking store shelves
- Customer assistance

You must be a team player with strong relevant experience and a passion for food and outstanding customer service. A forklift licence would be an advantage, but not essential.

You will be a proactive and motivated team player, striving to ensure objectives are met or exceeded. You will be a problem solver and your passion for excellence and customer service will be contagious.

**About you**
- Previous relevant experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Food safety knowledge
- A customer focused approach
