SYNOPSIS:
The Textile Conservation Technician is an APS level 4 position based in the Conservation Department at the Gallery. You will be required to undertake a variety of têxtile construction tasks being familiar with basic principles of têxtile conservation, including the preparation of têxtiles and costume works for storage, transportation, documentation, exhibition, and loans. You will also need experience with theatre costume and Fashion construction with period specific underpinnings as well as mannequins and display support.

This is a 12 month, part-time non-ongoing opportunity with the possibility of becoming ongoing.
