We are a medium sized cafe located in the heart of Springwood, trading 6 days a week with busy morning and busy weekend trade.

We pride ourselves on top quality customer service, fresh house made food and fantastic coffee.

What we are looking for,

We are looking for a fun, energetic and experienced Barista keen on moving into a front of house management roll with training provided by us. We currently have a fantastic team and are looking for someone with leadership qualities to step in and lead from the front.

Qualifications and experience required:

- 2 years experience working in a busy cafe
- Experience in managing a team is highly sought after
- Current RSA
- Fully qualified and capable barista skills (latte art, opening and closing coffee machine)

Tasks and responsibility:

- Manage a small team from training and skills development, ongoing supervision, problem solving, and managing rosters.
- Provide excellent customer service to our guests. We do dine in as well as takeaway coffee and food. We are also licensed and have a small selection of wine, beer, cider and cocktails.
- Oversee day to day running of the cafe. Sometimes this means problem solving on the fly, organising maintenance or emergency repairs of equipment, covering a shift if someone calls out etc. Sometimes it simply means being present on the floor with your team, upholding our standard of service.
- Analyzing weekly wage budgets, adjusting the roster accordingly.
- Analyzing P&L reports, and working towards sales targets
- Conflict resolution between staff and customers. Dealing with issues as they arise, in a professional and polite manner. Reporting to upper management any issues and working towards resolution.
- Ensuring company policies are followed by all staff, particularly in relation to our liquor license.
- Opening and closing the cafe, and all general cafe duties.
