**ABOUT THE ORGANISATION AND OPPORTUNITY**

BBE Consulting is a specialised mine ventilation, mine cooling and refrigeration consultancy with over 35 years’ experience gained in the deepest and hottest mines in the world. BBE operates world-wide in all types of mines and different mining methods and has contributed significantly to developing state-of-art technologies and strategies, the evaluation and implementation of novel cooling systems and the introduction of novel mining methods.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**

The position is for an operationally experienced Ventilation Officer/Practitioner/Technician to join the BBE Australasia team, which is focused on hands-on, site-specific operational support services. Work will include on-mine site work, including underground visits, and local and international travel will be required.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Monitoring Air Quality**:
Ensuring that air in the mine meets health and safety standards for oxygen levels and the presence of noxious gases.

**Maintaining Ventilation Systems**:
Overseeing the effective functioning of fans, ducts, and other equipment to manage air flow, temperature, and dust.

**Legal Compliance**:
Ensuring that all ventilation practices comply with relevant legislation and codes of practice.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
