**About us**

The Avenues Group of Centres is family owned and operated. We have been providing quality care and education since 2003. Each centre in the group has its own unique character and offers services that reflect the local communities in which they are located.

**Avenues Early Learning Centre - Jindalee** is a two level centre with a large natural play spaces and spacious, naturally lit rooms.

We are looking for a passionate **lead educator** to join our team of supportive, fun and passionate fellow educators

**The role**

We have a tremendous long-term opportunity for an experienced and qualified Lead Educator to join our team of friendly and passionate Educators on a permanent part-time basis at our Jindalee Centre.

The successful applicant must be willing to work with all age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years.

**Duties**
- Build positive and caring relationships with the children and their families
- Plan an outstanding educational program for our children
- Comply with the relevant government regulations
- Meet and exceed the individual needs of each child in all areas of their development
- Create a supportive, stimulating and secure learning environment for the children

**Skills & requirements**
- Holds a minimum of a Diploma in Children's Services
- Lead Educator experience preferred
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
- A current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- A moderate to high level of computer skills in able to use our online programming software
- Dedicated
- The ability to work any shift between operations hours of 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
