We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Assistant with a passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail to specialise in our range of rugs, carpet, flooring, window furnishings and homewares. This Casual position offers you the opportunity to work in an environment where your expertise will help customers turn their homes and spaces into something special.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**: Provide personalised assistance to customers by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products from our extensive range of rugs, carpets, flooring, and homewares.
- **Product Knowledge**: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings to answer customer inquiries, provide expert advice, and highlight the features and benefits of each item.
- **Sales**: Achieve sales targets by actively engaging with customers, upselling complementary products, and following up on leads.
- **Visual Merchandising**: Ensure that the showroom is well-organised and visually appealing, with displays that showcase our products effectively.
- **Customer Follow-Up**: Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and follow up to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a retail sales role, preferably with a focus on rugs, carpets, window furnishings or flooring.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Passion for interior design and home decor, with a good eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and sales software.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and industry trends.
- This is a Casual role as such your flexibility around your availability to work and willigness to work weekend shifts is highly desirable
