Classification Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented **Classification Assistant** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and classifying websites based on client requests. You will maintain accurate website classifications, update website categories, and process reclassification requests to ensure data integrity and relevance. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and classify websites based on established guidelines and client specifications.
- Analyze website content to determine appropriate categorization.
- Maintain and update website classifications to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Process and track reclassification requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine classification criteria and improve processes.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to validate website categorizations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and website classification best practices.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to be sensitive to cultural and contextual nuances when classifying content and handling reclassification requests.
- Comfortable working with data management systems and web analysis tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with data analysis, Information Science, or a related field preferred

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with website categorization, content moderation, or data analysis.
- Familiarity with web content evaluation and classification frameworks.
- Prior experience working in a client-focused environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $67,500.00 per year
