**About the Business Unit**:
**About the Role**:
The Business Support Officer provides quality day to day services, advice and support across the full range of business support functions including, but not limited to, finance, human resources and administrative services.

**Some of your duties will include**:

- Providing procurement advice and services including purchasing office requisites, raising purchase orders, maintain records in the Zycus system and ensuring that the unit adheres to procurement governance guidelines
- Managing the Unit's records in accordance with the Retention and Disposal Authority and Departmental guidelines including sentencing archiving and destruction.
- Providing efficient and effective delivery and advice on all finance functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, analysis and reconciliations

**About You**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of government financial policies and guidelines including procurement.
- Proven experience in a broad range of Finance and administrative functions, including the maintenance of administrative systems and procedures.
- The ability to remain polite, professional, and considerate in dealing with others while being aware of people's moods and temperament.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in government is desirable.
