Configure and administer Hitachi storage and associated components, Configure and Administer Unified compute platform
- Configure and administer Hitachi Storage Area Network (SAN) and associated components; including Fibre Channel switch administration(Brocade and Cisco)
- Configure and administer HNAS, HCP and HDI platform
- Configure and administer data restore and disaster recovery
- Configure and administer data backup(HDID)
- clients and servers
- Maintain storage aspects of new server integrations, storage allocation, and Change Management
- Setup procedures to consolidate storage of data from different platforms (i.e. Windows, UNIX and LINUX)
- Troubleshoot and fix storage issues on V5500,G900,G800,G350,G200,Hus150,e390.
- Perform routine equipment check and preventative maintenance
- Hitachi Storage analysis, capacity planning and performance planning of storage components
- Document the policies and procedures to support the operational storage environment and participate in the design and ongoing refinement of procedures and policies
- Prepare reports on Hitachi storage administration best practices, new technologies, etc. and recommend enhancements and configuration changes to improve and optimize storage
- Responsible for planning and execution of the Hitachi storage installation
- Monitor and analyse storage environment and resolve any issues
- Create logical groups, Luns, add hosts, delete Luns, add, share and remove storage
- Determine allocation of different storage types V5500,G900,G800,G350,G200,Hus150,e390
- Installed and configured Hi-Track monitor for Hitachi Arrays
- Install, configure and troubleshoot HORCM
- Plan, configure and implement data replication solutions

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $500.00 - $550.00 per day
