**The Opportunity**:
As a heavy vehicle body building apprentice, you'll learn how to fabricate and install custom bodies onto the chassis of a variety of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, refrigerated vehicles.
The successful applicant will complete a Certificate III - Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations - Bus, Truck & Trailer.

**Duties may include**:

- Prepare and operate tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Repair, service and maintenance of truck trailers
- Read and interpret work orders and work drawings.
- Perform basic welding, thermal and mechanical cutting, heating and gouging.
- Fabricate, repair and install custom bodies onto the chassis of a variety of heavy vehicles

**About You**:

- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Completion of Year 10 High School
- Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
