**Our client**

This is an opportunity to join a leading, fully integrated investment bank with a significant Australian presence and longstanding track record. Currently, an Analyst is sought to join its Infrastructure Investment Banking team in Sydney or Melbourne.

**The opportunity**

As an Analyst within the Infrastructure team, you will be involved in undertaking transactions associated with large-scale infrastructure assets such as such at roads, seaports, airports, rail networks, electricity networks and more. With a strong quantitative skillset, the Analyst is responsible for developing detailed financial models that underpin the operations, capital structure, cash flows and valuation of the aforementioned assets.

In addition to financial modelling, the Analyst possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills and is responsible for developing high-quality research used for both live transactions and marketing materials.

**Required skills & experience**

This role is suitable for applicants with 2-5 years of professional work experience. It is essential that this experience has been gained in a similar corporate finance environment such as the M&A team of an investment bank, an independent corporate adviser, the corporate finance team within a Chartered Accounting firm (Infrastructure Advisory, Valuations, Financial Modelling, Debt Advisory or potentially Transaction Services) or a an infrastructure advisory arm of a commercial bank or project finance advisor. Academically, our client seeks top performers and as such, it is likely you have achieved a university entrance rank in the 90′s and have maintained a distinction / high distinction average across your tertiary studies.
