Clontarf Beach State School opened its doors to 64 students on Tuesday 31 January 1950.
Clontarf Beach SS has a strong community focus and our aim is to provide an unforgettable learning experience for all of our students at the school. We do this by providing a high quality educational experience for every child in Prep to Year 6.
We design personalised learning pathways to suit each and every child in a safe, supportive, caring and engaging environment.
Our school is proud of the fact that we are part of such a diverse community and good relationships exist amongst all students within the school and all groups within the community.
Each year level is provided with specialised support for highly able students as well as those students requiring extra assistance.
All teachers and support staff are committed to developing and implementing programs to assist each child, through personal goals and high expectations, to experience academic success.
Through our strong community involvement, we also operate a Playgroup three days per week, on Monday and Wednesday and Friday. Our community involvement is a point of difference for our school and our mission is to ensure that all students see themselves as positive role models in the Clontarf Community. Every Friday, our students leave the school smiling and happy (with a sausage in hand) through our Community BBQ which has become a fixture in our weekly calendar.
We are proud of the growth in our students and would like to acknowledge our students, staff and parent groups for their continued commitment to our school, where the focus is on Learning Together for a Lifetime.
