Elevate is a fast-paced, growing organisation that provides support for participants with disabilities to live their daily life and support them to overcome any boundaries to reach their goals.

We seek a **Casual Disability Support Worker**to support participants for regular ongoing shifts in **Wonthaggi**.

**Schedule**:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday between 12.30 pm to 8 pm

Your Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- To deliver high-quality support to your client in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered.
- Communicate effectively to your client, team & coordinators and participate in collaboration for our client’s needs
- Understand, follow instructions, and responsive to the client's needs
- Provide personal care, conversation, cleaning, cooking, and other support to our clients as required.
- Have excellent rapport building skills
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with your client
- Must be comfortable with large dogs
- Assistance with domestic duties
- Assistance in accessing the community
- Background in nursing would be advantageous

To be successful, you must
- Hold CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Hold NDIS Worker Screening check
- Hold Working With Children Check
- Preferred Certificate III in Disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have relevant support work experience
- Have a drivers licence

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.84 - $70.61 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wonthaggi, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
