**The Role**:
Due to consistent growth, we are looking to employ a
**Sheet Metal Trades Assistant** who will report to the sheet metal foreman. The sheet metal T/A will provide exceptional product delivery of a quality product whilst adhering to project timelines.

**About the role**
- Setout, cutting, folding, welding, grinding and clean-up
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with workshop drawings and applicable work instructions
- Work both autonomously and collectively to meet deadlines
- Supervise, instruct and collaborate with apprentices and trades assistants
- Advise the sheet metal foreman of any client design ambiguities or product non-conformities
- Follow and implement occupational health and safety procedures

**About you**
- Sheet metal trade qualifications desirable but not essential
- Basic experience in the sheet metal industry
- Previous experience in laser cutting and press brake operations
- Mig/Tig welding & plasma cutting experience
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
- Highly motivated individual, good communication skills and shows attention to detail
