8:6 FIFO roster - Attractive salary with benefits - Leading Gold miner **The Company**: KCA Site Services is a WA owned and operated mining supplier, providing quality personnel and service solutions to the mining industry locally and overseas. **The Role**: We are currently looking to speak with experienced Mining Surveyors for our goldfields-based client. This role will report to the Senior Surveyor. The purpose of this position is to provide spatial support to the mining operation on a day-to-day basis. You will work on an 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth with the option to DIDO from Kalgoorlie also. **Role and responsibilities**: - Liaising with the surface and underground mining teams to ensure survey support is timely and effective. - Conduct regular as-built surveys and maintain the digital mine model. - Accurate and timely set out of mine design (Underground, Lateral Development, Vertical Development, Production rings, Infrastructure) - Undertake monitoring surveys, both surface and underground. - Extension, maintenance, and rigorous checks on the survey control networks. - Accurate End of Month (EOM) reporting for the mining and stockpile areas. - Upkeep and drafting of mine and emergency plans and appropriate calibration and testing of survey equipment. - Accurate and timely collection and delivery of aerial photogrammetry work. - Maintaining survey controls required to manage environmental risks (particularly regarding disturbance) are applied effectively *** **Key requirements**: - Tertiary qualification in Surveying (Mining) - Experience in Underground Mining with exposure to surface mining - Mine surveying experience and sound understanding of survey principles and practices. - Technical competencies with survey hardware and software (e.g. Surpac and or Deswik) - Current “C” Class WA Drivers Licence or equivalent - Current National Police clearance or be able to obtain one *** **The Benefits**: - Owner Operator - Full time position - Industry competitive remuneration package - Long projected mine life of current projects Your interest and experience can be expressed by clicking **KCA Site Services** **"Our People, Your Strength"** **1300 143 947
