We’re looking for a **Credit Manager** to join our ever evolving **Legal, Risk, Compliance & Audit** team to help us unleash the potential of every business.

**About the team**
The Large Credit team works collaboratively with merchants, business development teams, relationship managers, transaction risk analysts, compliance and legal departments to support growth objectives while mitigating and managing risk. We are a dynamic and diverse team providing a significant positive impact for our stakeholders.
**What you’ll own**
Provides analysis and interpretation of the customers’ financial status for proper evaluation of risk and the establishment of proper credit limits.
The primary responsibility of the Worldpay Credit team is to review larger credit risk exposure accounts to ensure the merchant’s credit fundamentals are adequate in relation to the potential exposure generated from the payment processing relationship. As a Credit Manager, you will perform thorough financial analysis on new merchant opportunities and merchants in our existing portfolio, while collaborating with internal and external partners to mitigate risk to Worldpay.
- Performs extensive analysis on a variety of financial statements and provides supportable credit recommendations
- Effectively evaluates complex issues, considering and prioritizing a variety of factors while adequately mitigating risk
- Establishes appropriate credit limits and collateral, when appropriate
- Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external clients
- Exercises sound judgment in assessing potential regulatory and reputational risks
- Monitors and communicates credit concerns to management
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
**Where you’ll own it**
You’ll own it in our **Sydney** - **APAC **hub**. **With hubs in the heart of city centers and tech capitals, things move fast in APAC. We pride ourselves on being an agile and dynamic collective, collaborating with different teams and offices across the globe.
**What you bring**
- Degree in finance, accounting or similar formal credit training with at least 5-10 years of experience
- Extensive experience with financial analysis and financial analysis software
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and strong sense of ownership
- Ability to creatively solve problems and achieve company objectives
- Time management and flexibility
- Knowledge of merchant acquiring services
