**The opportunity**

The Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated Housekeeping Assistants to join our team our Elizabeth Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility in Burwood. You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day.

Part time shifts:
Week 1 - Monday - 0900 - 1600 & Wednesday & Friday - 0930 - 1600

Week 2 - Wednesday & Friday - 0930 - 1600

Housekeeping Assistants are responsible for cleaning of residents’ bedrooms’, common areas, foyer entrances, dining areas and ensuites. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility, ensuring the well-being and comfort of elderly residents.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping
- Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential)
- An ability to work independently demonstrating a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team
- A genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives’

**Other Requirements**
- It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.
- All Aged Care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement if they have been vaccinated.
