Full-time and part-time positions available for **Diploma qualified** (or actively working towards) educators to join our vibrant Early Learning Centre. Located on Collegiate' s Junior School grounds in beautiful South Hobart, our Early Learning Centre enjoys a warm village atmosphere sharing learning and open spaces.

We value and place importance on each child’s ideas, needs and thoughts in order to enhance a sense of belonging and to create a safe environment in which children can play and learn.

Working with a team of exceptional and dedicated educators you will contribute to providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment that supports each individual child, as well as the overall group, on their educational journey.

To be considered for this role you must have:

- A minimum of an approved Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care **(or be actively working towards)(essential)**:

- Current and approved first aid qualification, emergency asthma management training and anaphylaxis management training.
- Demonstrated high degree of English literacy and the ability to provide high quality written documentation.
- Competent ICT skills.
- Dedication and passion for enhancing the lives and educational journey of young children and others.
- A keen interest in lifelong learning and inquiry.
- Ability to multi-task and work as part of a consistent and cohesive team.
- Sound knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety.
- A working knowledge of all aspects of the National Quality Framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to work within the School's Christian ethos and actively support the values and philosophy of the School.

**Salary Range**

$30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Remuneration is in accordance with the successful applicant’s experience and the St Michael's Collegiate School (General Staff and Early Learning and Education and Care Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2018.

- Hold and maintain a current Tasmanian Working With Vulnerable Persons check (RWVP);
- Provide a current (dated within 3 months of issue) National Police Check (NPC);
- Be authorised to work in Australia;
- Undertake mandatory child safety training;
- Be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
