Foundry Operative

**360 Personnel** are looking for an experienced After-Cast Operator to join our team in Silverwater. The job involves supporting the After-Cast team in cleaning and dressing castings.

**Role can includes**:

- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Adhere to all OH&S policies and procedures
- Ensure the correct PPE is being used
- Setting up equipment and prestart checks
- Liaising with After-Cast Team Leaders on the cleaning schedule.
- Packing castings
- Casting inspection
- Ingate and riser removal using hand tools.
- Using bench grinders and hand grinders to remove casting flask from joint line.
- General clean-up of your area.
- Other day to day tasks required in production.

- Mechanical understanding
- Problem solving ability
- Able to follow instructions
- Good communication verbal and written
- A motivated attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team
- Be physically fit for manual work
- Previous experience in foundry operation or hot environment is ideal but not essential.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
