Facilities Supervisor

**About The Role**
**Ventia** have been engaged by the **DJCS (Department of Justice and Community Safety)** to provide integrated Facility Management services incorporating planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance services, ad hoc services, and soft services including cleaning, ground, pest, and waste streams.

The DJCS has a diverse and complex property portfolio which consists of over 29 properties valued at over $2.7 Billion, ranging from Maximum - Minimum security correctional facilities; Post Sentence Facilities, Youth Justice, SESG training centres, Vic POL - CFA emergency complexes and community fire refuge centres.

As our scope of works has expanded, we are now seeking a **Facilities Supervisor** to look after one of our sites in the **Little River **area and will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of Hard and Soft services that meets the individual site-specific scope requirements and is delivered in a manner that is efficient, compliant, and doesn’t introduce risk, or disrupt the site operations.

Other duties include:

- Establish and maintain effective client relationships, provide onsite leadership and direction to the site-based trades team, assisting with building long-term sustainable services and growth across the site
- Maintain high levels of client communication, both verbal and written
- Accountable for site-based FM operations, including all scheduling planned inspect and report regimes, planned maintenance, Corrective maintenance, remedial works, and oversight of both hard and soft service contractors to ensure all contractual requirements are met as a minimum
- Supervising the performance of all internal delivery team members and subcontractors through regular performance auditing, reviews and communication.
- Organise resources, material and equipment as necessary to efficiently deliver services in accordance with contractual obligations
- Conduct quality inspection reporting in accordance with prescribed intervals and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to ensure desired outcomes
- Oversight of all time sheeting for completeness and soundness
- Oversight of all company assets including site-based vehicles ensuring all plant and equipment is maintained and always in a fully functional and well-presented manner
- Elimination of potential additional cost to the company attributed to over servicing contracts, through the construction and deployment of efficient labour plans
- Assisting with the management, scoping, execution and delivery of individual site-based CAPEX, Asset Refurbishment-Lifecycle/Project Works and handover documentation across nominated precinct sites as requested
- Requirement to be on-call to support the service delivery as required

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working as a Facilities Supervisor working in large complex and time critical environment with a focus on reactive maintenance.

You will also possess:

- Strong Stake holder engagement skills
- Experience with sub-contractor management
- Have worked in a proactive and reactive maintenance environment with time critical KPIs
- Have a unrestricted drivers licence
- Be able to undertake a National Police check and medical check as required by the contract
