We are proud to work and partner with Friends with Dignity.

FwD is a volunteer based not-for-profit registered charity that provides practical programs to assist survivors of domestic violence in collaboration with refuge and crisis centres. They work alongside these and other organisations, recognising that the mutual goal is to reduce the instances of domestic violence in Australia.

**Volunteers Needed - Newcastle Region**

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us within the Newcastle Region.

We have a number of specific positions, including:

- Donations Coordinator
- Urgent Requests / Sanctuary Coordinator
- Community Engagements Coordinator - admin / home based

All positions are volunteer based and unpaid.

FwD appreciate any time you are able to offer. If you are able to commit to regular hours (such as 5 hours per week) we would be delighted to discuss ongoing projects that might interest you. As it takes an amount of time and resource to welcome new volunteers on board, we would appreciate it if you pledged to support us initially for a minimum of 3 months.
