**The Centre**

Thrive Ermington is a 92 place centre in Sydney's North West and follows a play-based learning approach in a bright and modern building with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for children to explore.

Our culture is inclusive, collaborative and encouraging. We have a diverse team of educators and promote open communication between leadership and team members.

**The Role**

This is an exciting **permanent full time** opportunity for a qualified **ECT** to become our centre's Educational Leader.

We are looking for someone with experience in programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and educators.

**You will be joining a dedicated and supportive team where your ideas, input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged**

**Your main responsibilities will be to**:

- Support educators to assess each child’s learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories and the Thrive Curriculum
- Support educators to critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice.
- Reflect on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members
- Maintain effective communication with parents
- Uphold strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best

- Experienced in a similar role, preferably 1-2 years
- Sound, practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS).
- A current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate.
- A current NSW Employee Working With Children Check and Child Protection training
