Telecommunications Linesworker

Pilbara Networks are currently recruiting **Telecommunications Linesman Riggers** to join our team based in Perth WA. Experience in a similar telecommunications industry role will be critical.

Reporting to a Supervisor and your team leader of the rigging crew, you will be carrying out all rigging works on telecommunications structures and sites. You will be required to work at heights and work in remote areas of Western Australia.

**Duties will include**:

- Installation, testing and maintenance of telecommunications equipment mounted on high structures, including radio towers;
- Assessing installation requirements, planning and performing installations;
- Testing installed equipment and fault-finding on existing equipment;
- Following all Client and Industry specifications, standards and HSE guidelines;
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings to successfully complete works to a high-quality standard;
- Adjusting, replacing and repairing faulty items, and testing equipment using electronic instruments;
- Ensuring all paperwork is correctly completed and submitted to our office in a timely manner;
- Submitting relevant documentation on completion of works including photographic documentation as required by our clients;
**You have**:

- A conscious commitment to implement safe working practices and procedures;
- A solid knowledge about rigging in both the construction and Mobile industry;
- Previous experience rigging in the telecommunications industry and relevant rigging qualifications and tickets;
- Proficiency in the identification of faults in telecommunications equipment using instruments such as ohm meters, voltmeters, transmission measuring equipment, Anritsu site master and PIM testers
- A strong knowledge in the use and selection of the correct and specific equipment for various rigging tasks.
- Mining Experience

**To be considered for this role you need**:

- A minimum of 1 year industry experience;
- Physical strength and agility to perform the work required;
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude;
- Current Certificate in Rigging (Intermediate or Advanced);
- Tower / Rope Rescue Certificate;
- Current High-Risk Work Licence;
- Competency based qualification and experience with Elevated Work Platforms (EWP);
- First Aid Certificate;
- RadHaz Certificate;
- Construction White card.
- Drivers Licence
