Summary

This person assists in managing the overall operations of the Recreation Department within the hotel. These activities could include beach, pool, child activities, and coordinating Camp Hyatt program. This person will also have general management responsibilities to include interviewing, scheduling and counseling colleagues.

The following responsibilities are not limited to:

- Will make sure to plan the operations efficiently.
- Will check Medalia daily.
- Will attend different meetings.
- Will make sure to walk the Recreation pool and beach areas frequently and that all is clean and organized.
- Will supervise the areas and staff, including Contractors.
- Will coach, guide, and motivate the Team.
- Will assist the Team when needed in cleaning and maintaining our areas.
- Will make sure that all Department sanitation standards/protocols are done correctly by the staff.
- Will resolve all guest issues.
- Will handle the closing of payroll.
- Will handle the closing of payroll.
- Will need to manage I-Palapa.
- Will professionally correct and compliment all Recreation staff.
- Will make sure to treat all Hotel colleagues with respect.
- Will make sure that when closing daily Recreation operations all areas are clean and organized and all equipment is secured.
- Will make sure that Kronos is edited on time.
- Will make sure that the work schedule is finished and distributed on time to the Team.
- Will make sure that the team is updated on all need to know information during pre-shifts.
- Will handle other administrative duties.
- Will make sure that the Recreation slide schedule is made for the Team when necessary.
- Will make sure that the Recreation break schedule is posted.
- Will make sure that purchase orders are processed correctly.
- Will keep a detailed administration of the I-palapas bookings.
- Will make sure how to respond to Hotel Emergencies.
- Will make sure that when closing our daily operations all chaise lounge chairs, tables and regular chairs are secured.
- Will make sure that the areas are cleaned and organized prior leaving.
- Will inspect the areas together with the staff prior the staff leave.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent Organizational and Leader ship skills
- Able to speak English and Spanish a plus
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and Outgoing
- Guest Oriented
- Must be able to work outdoors and stand/walk for a long time.
- Team player
- CPR/First AiD
