**About the role & where you’ll be** **working**

Our team at Southern Plus East Fremantle is expanding, and we are seeking part time Care Workers to work our morning and afternoon shifts

As a Care Worker, you’ll be playing an important role in assisting residents with activities of daily living, including social and communal needs. You will ensure quality outcomes for all of our residents under supervision of your supervisor.

**We’ll also be asking you to:

- **
- Maintain continuity of care by reading and following care plans.
- Complete domestic duties as required.
- Communicate resident care needs to the supervisors on a daily basis.
- Contribute in creating a safe and friendly environment for all our residents.
- Show compassion & exercise patience.

**About You**

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have great interpersonal and communication skills to put our residents at ease. You have an attention to detail, and can effectively prioritise and multitask. You will also have a Cert III in Aged Care or something similar. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a difference in our residents' lives.

**To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

- **
- A Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Care or equivalent.
- Initiative & the ability to effectively prioritise & multitask.
- Great communication skills (spoken & written).
- Attention to detail for good record keeping.
- Morning and afternoon availability is desirable.

- A completed pre-employment health questionnaire
