Financial Crime Compliance Specialist
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Financial Crime Compliance Specialist to join our Financial Crime team.
**About the opportunity**
You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of AML/CTF programs, risk assessments, and regulatory engagement, while supporting business teams to navigate financial crime obligations with confidence. This is a dynamic environment where your insights will help shape policy, respond to regulatory change, and strengthen compliance frameworks across the organisation. With exposure to AUSTRAC engagement and cross-functional initiatives, the role offers meaningful impact and professional growth in a high-profile, regulated setting.
**About you**
You're a pragmatic compliance professional with 2-3 years' experience in AML/CTF within the Gaming or Financial Services industries, backed by a solid understanding of financial crime legislation, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption frameworks. Whether you hold a degree in Law or a related field, or a professional certification like ACAMS, you bring the kind of insight that turns complexity into clarity.
You're confident explaining technical concepts to non-experts, managing competing priorities with precision, and working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Known for your initiative, attention to detail, and analytical mindset, you build trusted relationships across the business and communicate with clarity, empathy, and purpose. You understand stakeholder dynamics and approach financial crime compliance with a risk-based lens enabling the business to meet its obligations effectively and proactively.
