Ward 5 west at Austin health is looking for a hardworking Patient Services Assistant (PSA) to join our team.
Austin helath is a major provider of tertiayhealth services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne and state wide. We have a highly engaged, diverse and collaborative workforce that is unified by our purpose, whcih is to help people live healthy and fullfilled lives.
Ward 5 West provides care to patients under Respiratory Medicine, Victorian Respiratory Support Service, Infectious Diseases, General Medicine 4 and other medical/surgical outliers. We operate 28 inpatient beds with a Respiratory High Dependancy Unit and inpatient Sleep Laboratory.
**About the Role**:
The role of the PSA involves performing a range of tasks, which include assisting with food services, moving and transporting patients, cleaning and general support tasks. If you join our team you will be supporting patients and staff on the ward to deliver best patient care.
**About You**:
We are looking for a PSA with good communication skills who is hard working and works well in a team.
