Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre have a vacancy for an Apprentice in Engineering - Fabrication with our host company based in Mulgrave.

As a full-time Australian Apprentice in this trade you will receive $1,250 every six months for the first two years of your apprenticeship ($5,000 in total) This is on top of your wage Get paid to learn

Our host is a leader in Design & Manufacturing of Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchanges and is looking for their next Engineering fabrication apprentice to join their highly skilled team. This workshop is purpose built so will be a great environment to start your career. Engineering
- fabrication can set you up for a wide range of career options in future. Our host covers a wide range of different engineering disciplines so you will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills.

**Your duties include**:

- Examining and interpretation of detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
- Cutting, rolling, shaping, heating, or hammering metal products to produce parts.
- Using hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines.
- Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, and assembly of pressure vessels and Heat exchanges

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Year 11 schooling
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Positive approach to workplace safety
