Oran Park, Australia Timberline Carpentry PTY LTD Full time

Timberline Carpentry is looking for either existing or young applicants looking to start an apprenticeship in cut on site carpentry (not internal or truss).

You will be required to meet at a meeting point in Oran Park NSW 2570 each morning by 5:50am, it is essential that you have a reliable way to get to this meet up point on time each and every day you are required to work. This is a company policy for while you are completing your apprenticeship as it is the safest, cheapest and most reliable for successful applicants to get to job sites all over Sydney and at times interstate.

If Carpentry isnt a career path that you see yourself giving your best to, cut on site carpentry is most likely not for you. Applicants will need to be reasonably fit (You dont need to be able to run a marathon or go to the gym daily) as the role does require lots of lifting, climbing and walking on a daily basis. As we construct house frames, it can at points require you to work at heights. If you have a fear of heights, this role will be something you are likely to find difficult.

If you are young, capable and willing to give it your all, we would love to meet you and set up a trial day. This way you also get to know us better as well.

Extra requirements of this role are:

- White Card
- Appropriate PPE - Steel cap boots, safety glasses, appropriate work attire and so on
- Be able to read and write and have strong skills in mathematics

*As previously mentioned - A Reliable way to get to and from the meet up point in Oran Park daily

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.22 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
